Excellent pizza, appetizers, and great service! Their pizza with Buffalo Chicken was the perfect blend of cheese, spice, and flavor!
Great place to make the pizza combo of your dreams. Have a really good cauliflower crust if you have a gluten allergy. Friendly staff too. Right next to hardware store so super handy stop. ;)
Very friendly, we have a group that go there every Sunday evening, they are always glad to see us and the food is great and always comes out fast. There are usually 12 to 16 of us that go.
We were staying nearby at Jamaica Beach RV. This place is very close. Despite the COVID impact the staff was very friendly. We ordered a pizza for lunch. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. More thin crust than regular but pizza was very good.
Great little place to grab a bite down in west end of Galveston. Took the kids for lunch today and really enjoyed everything. The cauliflower pizza is Gluten Free and sooooo good a must try!! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful, food came out fast and fresh. The just started carrying Ice cream and it was amazing homemade on the island!! Overall was great and we will be back for sure.
The Beach Burger is the best! The family there is very nice too :)
Quick, friendly counter service! We ordered a double cheeseburger and chicken strips. The cheeseburger was HUGE and yummy. The chicken strips were good as well.
This is a great place for casual dining! They have great hamburgers, their pizza is yummy but my favorite is their hamburger fries!!! I eat there weekly.... it is a family run business and they are super friendly and take time to get to know their patrons! Give them a try...
Awesome burger's Very friendly Need to go back to try their pizza
Great burgers and fries along with very friendly service
Saw the reviews of this place and thought I would try it. I was not disappointed! The pizza here is really good and service is fantastic. We tried the Beach fries and got two pizzas and they made them perfectly. They have a Cauliflower crust that I was a little worried to try but I was extremely surprised as to how good it was. If you are in the area this is a great place to stop and get a bite to eat!
Nice people and good service. However as someone used to pizza from Jersey it tasted like "cardboard with bland cheese."Not enough sauce.Dough is flat bread not thin crust.Pepperoni should be smaller. But the pizza was hot so 4 stars.
Food was ok. Bathroom cleanliness was terrible.
Food was great. Delivery times can be long so be prepared to wait or go get your food. We ordered burgers, pizza and fajita fries. Everything got to the house hot and it was tasty 😋.
Great local place with lots a great choices. We often get the pizza and the beach fries. Love that they have keto options as well. The family that owns it are the best people ever. Always smiling and friendly. We are finding ourselves to be regulars there. So glad to have them down on the west end!
We ordered from here for pick up, a 16 inch pizza and it was very good. It's thin crust, not greasy, made exactly how we ordered. We will definitely order from here again.
The best Cauliflower crust I have ever had!
Delicious! Just like homemade. 😋✨We had the double cheeseburger, patty melt, and fried okra. We used the delivery service. I can't wait to eat at their brick and mortar location so I can experience the smells from the kitchen.
Awesome lunch specials. Great home style cooked food. Gotta try em
Locally owned, friendly and great food. We love the Bronco Burrito and the daily linch specials. Say hi to Cindy when you visit
Expensive!! Paid $30+ for a Smedium (small/medium) pepperoni pizza that wasn’t even all that great and like 6 wings. Never again. Pizza wasn’t terrible but definitely could of gotten a way better frozen pizza from the grocery store. I Prefer little ceasers any day could of been $25 richer and way more satisfied/full!
Locally owned places just know how to do ot right. This was my first time coming here and I already picture this as a regular stop anytime I am in Galveston. Awesome food! Very friendly employees! Relaxing atmosphere.
Very good, thin crust pizza. Friendly service. Didn't realize it was BYOB, but we went to the convenience store next door and made it work.
After a long day traveling to the island my family was tired and very hungry. This was the closest restaurant to our rental house. The food was delicious we ordered two pizzas and wings. My family ate it all up. I will be back soon! 😁
We were just passing thru on our little vacation and man o man!! Delicious food! Fast service! Close to the state park and I can not reiterate how good this food is! The hamburgers are out of this world!!! And the pizza, if you like thin crunchy yet soft pizza, this is it!! Super friendly staff too!! If your thinking of going here, GO!! So worth it!!
I am embarrassed to say that I haven't tried them sooner!! Friendly staff, quick service and the pizza was AMAZING!! We have found the gem!!! Love the thin crust and the heaps of toppings!! Try it you'll LOVE it!!
I am not even sure where to begin with my review of this place. We went the first night we were in town for a reunion. The food was so amazing, we came back every day we were in town! Since we were able to sample the menu in its entirety, I can tell you everything you eat will be amazing. Our favorite was the beach fries! The owners could not be more kind and hospitable. I would come back into town just to eat here! If you are in the area, this place is an absolute must!
Good pizza thin crust style friendly staff
My family loves this place! The new owners are friendly and the food is great. We always get a pizza but they have plenty of other options. We stop in every time we are on the west end. Casual, kid friendly and always good.
We had burgers there. They were pretty good but not exceptional. The fries were really good. It was take out only because of the virus. Everything seemed a little pricey for what it was. But they have a decent menu and it was convenient.
Jamie, the gal at the counter, was fabulous. She made us feel welcome, explained the pizza sizes, etc. Nice restaurant, great music playing. However, we felt it was a little overpriced for the size of the pizza that came. We got the 12" with 3 toppings & 2 soft drinks at 22.00. Very thin crust, not much to it but tasted good. However, we are from Ohio & our pizzas are much larger plus we understand we are in a high tourist area.
Calling in orders to go was hit or miss. Some days we had no problem picking up an order in 15 minutes and some days no one would answer the phone when we called. Not going to dock a star as this place is probably the best place to eat in Jamaica Beach. The pizza was kind of meh but the breakfast and burgers were excellent.
This place is amazing. The people that own it and work there are the best. Our group goes most every weekend. Burgers, pizza, brownies, it all the best on the island. We used to go to an Italian place that has been around for a long time but you always have to wait and to be honest the food isn’t as good as Way West. I kind of hate to tell people about WW because I don’t want it to become too popular and make it hard to get a table. Really, the owner a work very hard, the food is delicious and I want them to be around for a long time, so don’t miss it.
The pizza is okay. The people were really nice and friendly. We got two pizzas pepperoni and cheese and it was $37. It’s very overpriced but it was good.
I'm sorry but my family and I were very disappointed in the 2 large pepperoni pizzas we ordered especially for the price paid (~$40). It was like cardboard, you couldn't even tell if there was pepperoni actually on it, and all I tasted was tomato sauce if that. Based on the other positive reviews maybe we just caught it on a bad night.
Food was cold, but the staff was very friendly and menu is refreshing.
Great place... great food..
Pizza was super delicious! Price was great! Customer service is above and beyond! Thank you so much for adding us to your last minute delivery. We really appreciate it and to be honest one our best moments we had while we were visiting Galveston. Thank you from Canada:)
Very friendly and hospital! Although due to current pandemic Way West Grill dine in is not an option, but they make to go orders a breeze!!
Good speedy counter service in place that used to lack that with the previous establishment, a wonderful option on the west end of Galveston Island. The pizza is pretty fine and if you hit their breakfast make sure to get a biscuit they are excellent!
I don't know what's up with the positive reviews. The inside of the building is in steep disrepair and the food was low-quality and clearly not fresh. We got a pepperoni pizza.I'm seriously baffled by people's reviews of "home-cooking", "can't go wrong", etc. There's no way those are real reviews. The cheese, pizza sauce, crust, etc. we're clearly all frozen or store-bought, the bathroom was very dirty.I just can't even stress enough how opposite the experience was compared to the way the reviewers described this place. I'm upset the owners have the nerve to charge for the food.
Best food place on the West End! There is literally nothing on the menu you can go wrong with. My personal favorite is the Fried Mac And Cheese Bites. The staff is so friendly and super helpful with everything. The portions are huge and I always take home leftovers. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bite on the West End.
We love this place so much! Delicious pizza and burgers, and the kids love the chicken tenders. Wings are a hit with my husband. We eat here every other weekend when we come into town on Friday evenings and I love that I don’t have to cook after a long drive. The owner is sweet as pie.
We stopped for ice cream and then the next day for breakfast. Both days the staff was helpful and friendly. The ice cream was delicious and breakfast was very reasonably priced and good too. Great place to stop for food!
Large sized and fairly priced good tasting Italian food.
We came in very late at night about five minutes before they closed and they were willing to stay open and make us a pizza since they were the only thing open around. The staff was amazingly friendly. We came back the next morning and had delicious breakfast pizza and got to meet the owners and really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend.
Everything was delicious, waitress had an attitude. She wanted us to answer her if everything was good with a mouth full of food. I nodded I guess she didn't pick up on that.
Food and service were outstanding! Restaurant itself was a little warm...granted this was one of the hottest days of the summer thus far and it was just past the heat of the day. The service and laid back feel made it worth it!
Fantastic burgers and amazingly friendly ownership! We enjoyed our visit and will be back.
Great family-owned place with delicious pizza! They really came through for our group a couple of weekends ago. We had a big group coming to the Seaside Retreat Center and our lunch plans fell through. The amazing folks at Way West were able to feed our whole crowd on less than 12 hours notice. We'll definitely be stopping here every time we're in Jamaica Beach.
